Just wanted to comment on this sham indictment of Rick Perry. He vetoed funding to a Travis County task force assigned to investigate corruption and integrity in state offices because the head of the task force was convicted of drunk driving. The Constitution of the state of Texas gives the governor such veto powers over the state budget. The crime he is being charged with is bullying and abuse of power ... in that he told the task force BEFORE he vetoed their funding that he would veto their funding if the convicted drunk driver heading the task force did not resign. She refused to resign. Perry vetoed their funding. To the liberal Democrats who control and infest Travis County and the city of Austin, when a politician promises to do something, then actually does it, it is considered a felony. Go figure. Here is a video of the woman Perry asked to resign. She is still District Attorney of Travis County ... even though public drunkenness is one of the three causes to have her removed from office. Remember, the Travis County task force investigating corruption and integrity, the unit Perry denied Texas taxpayer funding to, is under the control of the woman in this video.
