Just wanted to drop a fun Sunday morning note to 99% of everyone Ive ever dealt with in a grocery store. 1. Please dont put your cart in the middle of the aisle. Do you not see me behind you and the other guy next to you? 2. Dont put your cart on one side of the aisle and browse on the other. Yes, thats me behind you, trapped, wanting to yell MOVE STUPID, but only smiling and thanking you when you finally notice me standing there playing angry birds waiting for you. 3. Dont block the aisle talking to your dumb friend. Yes, I too think its amazing that you saw your neighbor at the neighborhood store, and Id love to hear about Susie winning a prize in class, but I actually would rather shop. 4. Control your dumb kids. Listen, I have dumb kids too, we all do. But I control them. I dont think its cute when theyre playing minecraft in 13B, nor is it cool when they put things in my cart. So please be a parent. KTHXBAI 5. Dont bring coupons. I swear to God Id rather pay the .74 cents youll save with the 27 coupons youre proudly presenting the cashier. You understand that line snaking around behind you and out the door would also pay as well. Next time add up your coupons, look for the ugly guy in the Long Live The Kings shirt, and tell me the total. Thats tongue in cheek. But any coupon that saves you less than 10% on the item shouldnt be used. ****** In short, please be courteous. PS: while loading your groceries, please avoid the need to turn your stereo on and serenade the parking lot. Yes, Im super impressed that your 78 Datsun has a 10,000 dollar system in it, Im even more impressed with your budgeting because I was behind you in line watching you pay for food with your WIC card, but I promise you if I wanted to hear music I would turn on my own stereo. Unless you are trying to save someone from suffering from cardiac arrest by chest thumping them with your power bass, then I get it. I guess the moral is, get off my lawn.
