Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Just had a white male in his early 20 s, wearing red pants, and a black hooded sweatshirt come to our door in the 9000 blk of 30th street stating he lived over on Sunnyside and was not able to obtain a scholarship to Purdue and was looking for donations at 8 05 PM at night. I told him I was not interested and closed the door. Couple minutes later, I got in my car to see if I could see what direction he was going and noticed an older model silver conversion (work) van just sitting at stop sign (30th/Sunnyside) for period of time. Drove around corner, van gone. 20 minutes later my wife ran to store and noticed same looking van sitting with hazard lights on over on the corner of maple and 30th. Brookfield Police were called and notified of the situation. What to look for: White male early 20 s approx. 6 tall, 180 ish lbs- talking about donations, Purdue, scholarships Silver van older model, License plate A38 7931 Dont hesitate to call PD if you notice something suspicious!
