Just wanted to give everyone an update. Drs are amazed at Ryans strength. Original diagnosis was not as bad as thought. Extreme swelling and a severe fracture at base of skull but no swelling on the brain itself. Brain stem, spinal cord in tact bruised but not damaged. Jaw and eye socket on right side fractured, he made it through 8 hrs of surgery last night to repair. Shoulder on right side fractured. No internal injuries or bleeding at this time. Heart bruised but ok. Lungs bruised but ok. Keeping him sedated, trach, feeding tube and mouth wired closed. Neuro surgeon is hopeful, but said dont judge day to day, but rather week to week. Been a long long 3 days. Still at hospital with him, he is resting comfortably. Love you all and Thank you all for you prayers, please continue!!
