Just wanted to let all know that something amazing came in the mail today. As you know a group of friends and I started an amazing organization 7 years ago, CURA Brazil. This year will be our 6th year providing medical and dental care in the poorest of areas of Itu, Brazil. And this year we will be adding chiropractic, a dream of many years. But making this a very special day today is that the IRS has granted us our official Federal tax exempt status. After submitting our application over 7 months ago and not hearing anything, the news arrived today. No update or corrections were necessary, thanks to the excellent legal work of Allen Price and the incredible help from all the members of the board who worked so diligently to put together an excellent application! This means that donations to help us with equipment and scholarships to get volunteers to Brazil, are now tax deductible.
