Just wanted to let all of you who have been so kind to send me get well wishes, that I am FINALLY feeling better! After 10 weeks of being sick - to feel at least semi-normal is a reason to celebrate! Been busy playing catch-up with work & trying to get my house straightened out, too. I have a wonderful husband on so many levels, but he is not going to do much housework, thats just the way it is :-). Bill will load & empty the dishwasher if I request it, & on the rare occasion that he has to, he will do a little of his own laundry. However, he does NOT go to my dirty clothes basket to see if anything from it could be thrown in with his :-). Im pretty sure if a poll was taken about how many husbands do their wifes laundry, it would show he is in the vast majority - the ones who dont. Hes a good cook though, so Im lucky in that respect. But, he works such long hours, having the time or energy to cook has become more & more rare for him. Which is fine... Im just happy when he does cook. Strangely, my illness has somehow caused me to loose part of my sense of taste, so Ive told him not to bother cooking any of his gourmet meals, cause I cant taste them anyway. Basic nutrition is all Im after right now, so were keeping meals simple. My sense of taste has improved in last few days though, so hopefully I will be normal soon. Thanks again to all of you who have kept me in their thoughts & prayers. It means the world to me!
