Just wanted to let you know about this event happening in Somerset this weekend! Its developed from a simple idea to put a marker at Mr. Rutherfords unmarked grave into a pretty big celebration of his life and music, with several of his long-lost relatives planning to attend! Well be sticking around after the ceremony to listen to Bluegrass music performed by anyone who wants to come and bring an instrument! Bring a folding chair and join us! Help us spread the word! (Leonard Rutherford was half of the Burnett and Rutherford Duo in the 1920s-1940s. Many of their songs, including Man of Constant Sorrow, All Night Long, Ladies on the Steamboat, and Willie Moore, are still played today.)
