Just wanted to pass this along from Karon Weatherman from the Senior CItizens Center - hope we can help her with this. I am looking for some monetary help for one of my Seniors. She is raising 2 Grandchildren, Her husband passed away a couple of month ago with Cancer. She is working part time making Minimum Wage. She is trying to get on disability because she has Macular Degeneration. She has not been able to pay her rent in a couple of months. Last month her Father In Law paid her rent but he cant this month. She has tried all of the avenues in Hopkins County to get help for her rent. The ******* could only give her $ 50.00 and **** couldnt help at all. I am making a plea out to you guys on my email list to please help her. If you can help in ANY way big or small please let me know. She really is trying her best to take care of herself and her sweet grandbabies.
