Just wanted to post an occurrence on here, in addition to the neighborhood watch site. Recently, a woman, white, dressed in raggedy clothing, with brown matted hair, went up to the door of 902 2nd street. There were renters in the house. When the lady renting the house answered the door, the woman started yelling, Manual! and trying to push her way into the house. The lady managed to shove her out and get the door shut. She was terrified and had 3 kids in the house with her. She doesnt speak English and for whatever reason, was afraid to call the police. The woman trying to break in wandered through her yard yelling for a Manual. There is no Manual that lives there. Later that night, they found their beautiful Macaw parrot dead in its cage and the cage door left open. I talked to the husband and he said they were scared and they promptly moved, but before they did, he pointed out who the woman trying to break in was. I see her all the time in our neighborhood. She has been traveling with a man recently. They are both white, with brown matted unkempt hair. They dress in clothing like bums and look disheveled and dirty. I have seen them together and separately and they both wander around talking to themselves. Ive seen them wandering around looking in peoples yards, and they are rather suspicious. My husband is a sheriff in another county and he notified the sheriffs but the renters already moved and didnt want to talk to any law enforcement. I will be calling them in every time I see them, but just keep an eye out for them.
