Just wanted to put out a quick reminder to some and/or notification to others on a few details of my personal schedule for the immediate future and what Arena will be up to: as Michael Christian mentioned on the Arena Tribute page, Arena IS & will be actively pursuing new venues for future gigs. To reiterate- we are NOT breaking up. As always, please stay tuned to the page for further details. As for me, I have been extremely fortunate to have been asked to sing for the band Crossfire on Friday nights, at Texas Station Casino on Rancho & Lake Meade in the South Padre Showroom from 10 pm - 1 am, beginning Nov. 7th. https://facebook/crossfire.vegas Crossfire plays the same material that Arena does, also throwing in some modern rock/pop and some classic hits, as well including some disco! Im totally jazzed to expand my musical mind with a fantastic bunch of guys that are as nice as they are fun! Speaking of expanding my musical experience, once Ive learned their show, I will also be filling in, as needed, with the hilariously nerdy, 80s hits band, The Spazmatics! My personal thanks to Jamie Brown of Perfect World Entertainment for welcoming me into his organization and Alex Papa & Jimmy Oleson for making it happen. Im also putting together a project that I cant say much about as yet (nothing to tell thus far), but as soon as weve hammered out the details, well make the announcement. It wont be a band that plays out a great deal, as everyone is so busy, and may primarily play corporate events, casinos & fairs. More on this as it unfolds. Please stay tuned to my Facebook page, my likes page https://facebook/DrewciferHart (I think some people call this a fan page; I feel thats a bit presumptuous, I prefer to call all of you friends) and my personal website that will be open very soon, which will contain all my original music that Ive recorded with my European band as well as the legendary Kurdt Vanderfhoof of Metal Church. That website is: DrewHart.Rocks (yes, that is .Rocks, not .Com). Bookmark it, as the site is under construction). I will keep everyone updated on my personal schedule as well as what were doing in Arena. I will also post pictures from current and past gigs. I am very pleased to have had the opportunity to play The Fremont Street Experience for so long and for the experienced gained. The memories & friends made there will last a lifetime. To all the musicians & bands that Ive shared the stage with- thank you for the time youve shared with us! To the incredible people as well as musicians that Ill be playing with soon, including my brothers & sister in Arena- there is no possible way I can thank them or each of YOU for the continued love and support, but- THANK YOU from all of us! As always: without you... there is no us.
