Just wanted to say... Folks, have you ever taken a step of faith? - TopicsExpress

Just wanted to say... Folks, have you ever taken a step of faith? I mean truly walked away from the comfort of your zone and told God yes, yes I will follow you? I did that very thing nearly 15 years ago when I left the postal service and began ministering to the Great State of Mississippi and West Tennessee as an Awana Missionary. God directed me to choose Philippians 1:6 to be my life verse and I am just as confident now as I have ever been. Having said this, I knew that being faith supported would be a unique journey but didnt understand it exactly the way I do now. That being said, please allow me to share just exactly how my God shall supply your needs and knows them better than we do!! So at the end of each month we receive an Income and Expense sheet that describes in detail about both of these two factors. At the end of October, our report reflected that our budgeted giving was down nearly $3,000.00 for that month. We are nearly 70% funded each month and are continually seeking the Lords guidance to ask whom he prompts us to ask about partnering with our family and ministry. (If youd like to considering partnering please inbox me so that we can set a time to present our ministry to you). Yesterday, We stopped by one of our Awana Churches in Horn Lake, MS to visit the pastor and staff. This church happened to be the church I attended for over 14 years and is our sending church, Calvary Baptist Church. We visited a bit and as I had conversation with the church secretary Mrs, Betty! She shared that the church had collected do rations for theirJack and Loka Holmes Missions offering in late November and selected five missionaries and missions agencies to receive equal shares of the offering! They had presentations done each week of each missionary so that everyone could get to know us better! Imagine my surprise when Mrs. Betty shared the following news... TJ, there is a check in the mail right now for $3098.00 going to your account! What? Are you serious? Wow! How can I describe the overwhelming feelings of joy, security and assurance that God will provide for all of our needs! The church had no idea that we were short of our budget, in fact, very few people knew at all but we asked for people to pray for the shortfall and our God met our need, just as he promised in Philippians 4:19. This week has been filled with amazing acts of kindness to our family and ministry. We simply cannot tell you how blessed we feel! Thank you each end everyone that prayed for us and our ministry! Thank you brother Greg Cook for casting a vision of provision for the missionaries of your church. Thank you New Beginnings Baptist church for the vehicle youve provided for our ministry and family! Most of all, at this time of year, I wish to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for my salvation! I once was lost, but now I am found! God made a way for sinful mankind to be reconciled to himself and this was done through Jesus birth, life, death, burial and resurrection. No man comes to the father but by Jesus!! I am blessed more than I can explain! May God bless you!
