Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all my friends and family for all the support getting the first Calderdale Way Ultra off the ground. I am as excited about this as I would be as if I am running it myself. I have remarked the entire CW this week and had a few oppositions and unhelpful comments but largely supportive. This will make it clearer for all runners and walkers in time. This has been 14 months of handwork and as chuffed as I am with myself for getting it off the ground I wanted to thank my wife Liz Pearson (Lloyd) her dad Frank Pearson Karen Jayne Parfitt and all the other marshals for supporting the event.
