Just wanted to share an observation here: note the 100+ year old dust buildup at the stub end of the track. No tie plates either, just one spike up against the rail, thats the way they did it in the old days.. [Anyone ever go to McSorleys Old Ale House and see the wishbones hanging off the gas pipe that have been sitting there since the Civil War 1865 with the dust on them thats an eigth of an inch thick, well this looks exactly the same, saying...]
