Just wanted to share my thoughts with our Facebook friends and clientele as I am reminiscing over the past year.... This job can be really stressful most of the time...especially long hours, wake up calls in the middle of the night, working with administrators in the system that can be less than desirable individuals to work with sometimes, and chasing runners down when they dont want to handle their responsibilities. Lets be honest, this business isnt all that glamorous and glitzy. However, when I can bail someone out that is a decent person, with a loving family, who knows they screwed up but theyre gonna face it and deal with it the right way, it makes me feel really good about myself and the business. Assisting my clients with employment opportunity packages, places to check out rehabs, counseling, anger management classes, and helping them get their g.e.d or apply for college courses is part of my business too. Anybody can post a bail, but I go the extra mile to show my clients that I care about their future and they can still fix their lives and move forward even though they have pending criminal charges. This mornings bail reminded me not to be sour about my most recent bail jumper. Just because I have a few bad eggs in my filing cabinet shouldnt allow me to be discouraged from going the extra mile to earn my paycheck. I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year! Another fresh start, another clean slate. May we all learn from our past and move forward with great intentions...
