Just wanted to share these family pics from Green Bay (Klaus Street area) because they show the wooden sidewalks. The one on the left is approx circa 1934, and the one on the right about 1936. Somewhere I have a picture with my great grandfather, Joseph Sampo, standing on the last wooden sidewalk in Green Bay, which was on the side of his house, on the day the city came to remove it so they could lay a concrete sidewalk.
