Just wanted to share this: F Y I .. Just got this in an email Community Alert. A man and woman have been frequenting the Oyster Bay Public Library and engaging 12 year olds in conversation. Details are as follows: The couple either sits in the library or outside on a bench and engages the children in conversation and at times having the students buy them food. The white male, approximately 30 years old and 5’8” tall, has a beard and smokes cigarettes. He was wearing a jacket that said Greenwich Tennis on the left breast and wears a long beanie. He also is missing a tooth on the upper left side. The woman is white and approximately 5’8”, wearing a lavender fleece and “ski” hat, has blonde hair and goes by the name Ivy White. These people are adept at getting information out of the kids. Police have questioned the couple. The male had an outdated ID from California. The female had no ID. They claimed to be homeless and live on a boat. When asked where their boat was docked, they said it is anchored. They would not show the cop to check the inside of their bag/backpack. The librarians have stated that the couple hang out at the library all day and claim to have arrived in Oyster Bay 10 days ago.
