Just wanted to share this beautiful thank you note from an amazing young girl who, although going through a major health crisis has decided to focus on the positive. Hello, my name is A., and I am 12. I wanted to thank you for the blanket I received from your wonderful organization. I was recently diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and given a Project Linus blanket. POTS is a rare and a commonly unknown syndrome to doctors. During the process of going from doctor to doctor, doctors tried to belittle my symptoms. When I was given a blanket from you I felt that someone was showing they cared. Now, I am spreading the word of Project Linus and making blankets. I dont think most people know how a blanket can change their outlook in life when dealing with a serious illness. My school is holding a contest where you present your favorite charity and the students vote on their favorite charity of the ones presented. The winners charity will get a $350+ donation, and you can bet I will be presenting Project Linus. Wish me luck! Anyways, I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
