Just watched The Dallas Buyers Club. Am so moved by the trials people went through during the initial period of the AIDS crisis. I was a nurse in Sacramento during this time. San Francisco and Sacramento were so impacted. Thank God this moved beyond a social issue and treatment was researched and now is improving the outcomes. There was so much ugliness and finger pointing. This affected all groups.
