Just watched "Weed" on CNN, with Dr. Sanjay Gupta. Yes, I am a proponent of marijuana legalization, but I had no idea of the astounding medical uses of marijuana. I know for a fact that it alleviates back pain, but its usage to treat seizure related problems is particularly eye opening. One girl featured began having seizures at age three months, which grew to over 300 seizures a week, effectively destroying her life. Prescribed marijuana at age five, the number of her seizures immediately plummeted to only one per week, and the girl has her life back. Surprisingly, to me at least, Egypt is a leader in promoting medical marijuana, and it is widespread in their nursing homes.This is an eye-opening and worthwhile one hour show. Catch it if you can.
