Just watched the documentary Dear Mr. Watterson on Netflix. A very beautiful film. Everyone should watch it. It will resonate with you especially if you grew up in the 1980s or 90s. This doc taught me about the commerce and the politics of art supremacy - I really don’t find comic artist Bill Watterson to be any lesser than Pablo Picasso, and why should he? Art is an art … comic strip or oil painting, why should there be any difference when comes to personal artistic expression? Loved the film!
