Just watched the handicapped young raccoon outside my window eating. He is looking so healthy otherwise! Love when they heal so nicely after a nasty storm injured it in the winter. I do think if I did not make sure I put enough food out and often enough that he wouldnt be doing as well. Honored to do so and keep them from going into the street looking for food and being killed by a car in this busy area and thankful I can make them happier and safe with full tummies even though he is scared of me :) So cute to watch though!
