Just watching a program about our climate and the storms that hit one after the other early 2014. Then learned we had the best summer since records began !! .. I also learned that country for country , Ireland is head and shoulders above them all in Grass Production . ie saving the hay.. that is why Ireland is known as the Emerald Isle , 40 shades of green , and yes it may be mid winter but our fields are still lush and green but the grass is partly in hibernation waiting for the sun to warm up a little then we cut grass and feed it to the cattle , we are constantly cutting lawns in our houses.. some years you can cut the lawn , come in have a cuppa tea and look out and think the grass needs cutting again :) LOL .. almost true ;-) That is why when I say you should see Ireland in full bloom, mid summer , it really is in full bloom and it is some sight.. That is 100% true ..
