Just went to a Rotary meeting where I saw Wisconsins First Lady - TopicsExpress

Just went to a Rotary meeting where I saw Wisconsins First Lady Tonette Walker speak. When she opened the floor to questions, she was asked who was the most interesting person shed met in politics. Here in Waukesha, as hard-core a Republican enclave as there is, a county where in my opinion, tolerance of differing viewpoints is just a teensy bit hard to come by, she answered, unflinchingly, Michelle Obama. She spent about a sentence on what they didnt agree on, but then spoke for 10 minutes or so on what they *did* agree on, how well they got along, and how much she, Mrs. Walker, admired Mrs. Obama. Bravo! So what the heck is wrong with you people (you know who you are) who rarely mention anyone with a differing political opinion than your own with anything less that outright derision? Grow the hell up, (you know who you are.)
