Just what we need right? More safety legislation and equipment regulation. IDIOTS! There are enough laws on the books and every biker accepts as a given that motorcycles have its inherent dangers. Opting to voluntarily use safety equipment is a choice and should remain a choice. WE DONT NEED ANY MORE GOVERNMENTAL REGULATIONS to make bikers safe. We already know what we can opt for to do that. It would be much better to campaign for PUBLIC EDUCATION about bikers and the dangers that we face from other motorists and their lack of awareness concerning riding motorists and a bikers perspective. The public needs AWARENESS and EDUCATION so that non-bikers come up to speed with what we bikers deal with every time we go out on the road. We as bikers need to EDUCATE OUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES about biker issues and safety concerns. Enuf said.
