Just when I thought Kansas Gas Service could not get any more incompetent. . . After showing up at my rental property Tuesday without any notification and digging up my yard and flower bed with a backhoe and asking my brand-new tenant, who was moving in THAT DAY, for access to my basement to drill a home into the foundation of my property for a project about which I was never informed, guess what happens today? Follow along, please, all of you. Today my wonderful former neighbor Art Busch called because a contractor for Kansas Gas Service had gone to *his* house by mistake. This contractor also needed to see the basement of the property we now rent. But guess what? He was at the wrong house. How Kansas Gas Service failed to give this contractor my contact information before he went out to the wrong house is beyond me. Now not only does my husband Joshua Wood have to get up early on a day he works until 1 a.m., but he has to meet someone tomorrow too. Because God forbid this company do everything at once. How Kansas Gas Service stays in business is beyond me. Does anyone have a backhoe? Because I have a really good idea about how to solve this situation. But I need a backhoe first.
