Just wondering how many people know about this? Did you know that a new law was passed by Westminster at the start of the year, to be enforced in Scotland as a trial. It was meant to help stop terrorism but is being used by the government and councils to recoup tv licence and council tax that is outstanding. If you are leaving from Glasgow airport and you have not paid these two items then you will be stopped. The police will gve you the opportunity to pay the outstanding debt and allow you to continue on your holiday. If however you cant pay then you will be stopped from travelling and arrested. If you fly from Manchester no one will stop you. This story was carried by the Sunday Post in January and confirmed by Police Scotland at the time. That manky mob in London using Scotland as guinea pigs again. Better together my arse!
