Just yesterday at the Centro Ecologico Akumal (CEA) basketball court.! I find the need to speak up here because of what went on just yesterday. If the intention really is to limit the snorkelers across the board and the access issue with the pueblo is on going then why not start limiting access by stopping what you can control like the 35 vans and over 500 snorkelers that were allowed to park on Centro Ecologico Akumal (CEA) basketball court just yesterday. Every single van that enters is documented at the gate so I am sure that this information can be verified. Time has come to be real about what is going on and find real solutions. So we can start by coming clean and answering some question here in public since these issues were posted in a public forum instead of private meetings because we all know that public opinion carries a lot of weight................ Questions that need to be answered. 1. Where are these vans coming from that park at the basketball court. 2. Who is authorizing this. 3. Who is profiting from this. 4. What are these funds being used for and where are they since the pueblo is supposedly going to benefit from all the activity that goes on in the bay............... This is not a personal attack on anyone just the facts and if I am wrong here then please confirm and I will be the first to publicly apologize. All the buses that were parked in the pueblo were mostly nationals whom we all know hardly go into the bay yet all the people in these vans at the basketball court go snorkeling because that is why they are here. If anyone wants to sit with the standing committee representing the pueblo and discuss this in private please just let me know and I can forward this request.
