Justgiving the donation goes directly to the charity I believe. Always check where your money is going and learn about the charity before donating. I think its a great idea this selfie thing. Doesnt matter what it is really does it? Anything that gets people thinking about the illness and also their own health is a positive thing. You dont have to dwell on it. If it gets 1 person (Ive seen a few young ones donate for the first time) to donate a few quid instead of buying a packet of fags, weed, or bottle of cider then happy days! These trends do encourage unlikely people to participate in things they wouldnt usually. I personally dont like being a sheep but if its for a good cause and good fun then not a prob. Hopefully the generosity will trickle into their day to day lives and more people will spare some time and effort for others.
