Justice Chinembiri Bhunu again! He has bounced back, with a bang, Justice Chinembiri Bhunu, whose name provokes a deluge of memories, from bizzare to ridiculous and unforgattable. Bhunu has ordered that all election material for Mt Pleasant constituency be opened and inspected next week. Very interesting indeed. The Zanu PF regime may think it fools people everyday and all of them for that matter. Just last week, Speaker of Parliament, Jacob Mundenda told the August House that the case of July 31 rigged elections was closed and sealed by the Constitutional Courts dubious ruling two months ago. Mundenda merely reiterated and reaffairmed the Zanu PF regimes strategy and position in which it abused the judiciary to both plot and legitimise the July electoral fraud. Now, here is Bhunu and Mt Pleasant ruling and the first question is what is the regimes trick and plot this time? We have seen enough to know and understand the unholy alliance between the regime and the judiciary and that key issues are not allowed to go through the independent normal process. Like some have already anticipated, does the regime know that enough work has been done on the Mt Pleasant material to pass a facade of transparency or legitimacy? Or, is Bhunu getting excited and ordering for the opening of a can of worms, which isnt sanctioned by the regime? If so, then drama looms and we may get the latest episode from Zec and the forgotten Rita Makarau. Whatever the case, one thing we can be sure of is the return to the limelight of Bhunu, Zec and other characters involved in the election saga. I know real drama looms, which will kick back Eubert Angel and crew to the periphery of the news before they brag about more wealth or invent miracle electricity. Re-enter Bhunu and Rita Makarau!
