Justice must to restore peace in world: Ameer-i-Jama’at ::: SRINAGAR, JUNE 15: Stating that inequality in Muslim societies reflects social injustice, Ameer of Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammad Abdullah Wani, Sunday said that Muslims must strictly adhere to tenets of Islamic Shariah. “Quran has laid much stress on the adhering to principles of Justice, be it social, political or economic justice,” Ameer-i-Jama’at said while delivering Dars-e-Quran during Salana Ijtimah of Jama’at-e-Islami District Srinagar held at Zainakote HMT here. According to a press release issued to Sachnews by Advocate Zahid Ali Spokesman of JeI .Mohammad Abdullah Wani said that “Adal” or Justice was among the basic terms of Islam. He said that uncertainty in society was due to injustice and only implementation of Islamic teachings can ensure justice in the society. “Delivery of justice is must for peace to prevail,” he added. He said that Muslims should look within and introspect whether they are following Islamic teachings in their day to day life or not. “Muslims should keep principles of Justice paramount in all their dealings and actions,” he said He said that it was absence of Adal or Justice because of which we see chaos prevailing in the world today. He also called for fruitful use of Media and said that its abuse was leading to spreading of waywardness in the world. “Today misuse of media and internet is leading to vulgarity and waywardness among youth,” Ameer-i-Jama’at said asking Muslims to make fruitful use of Internet. In his Khitab-e-A’am, general secretary of Jama’at-e-Islami, Dr. Abdul Hameed Fayaz, discussed the universal message of Islam. He said that Islam is a system of mercy not only for those who accept it and become Muslims but also for those who don’t accept it as Prophet Mohammad (SAW) was given the title of “messenger of mercy for all the creatures.” He said that Jama’at-e-Islami wants to establish that system of justice and mercy. Dr Fayaz said same message was brought by Mir Syed Ali Hamdani to Kashmir. “Jama’at-e-Islami is the torch bearer of that same message which was brought by Shah-e-Hamdhan to Kashmir,” he said. He also said that only establishment of Khilafah can ensure peace in the world. Explaining Jama’at’s stand on Kashmir dispute, Dr. Fayaz said that “from the day one of Kashmir dispute, Jama’at-e-Islami has been advocating resolution of Kashmir dispute according to wishes and aspirations of Kashmiri people.” He said that any resolution which is against the aspirations of Kashmiri people will be rejected. “The resolution to Kashmir dispute must be sought as per UN resolutions or through tripartite talks,” Dr Fayaz said, adding “Jama’at has sacrificed most for the resolution of Kashmir dispute.” He also asked new dispensation in New Delhi led by Narendra Modi to be serious and sincere about resolving Kashmir dispute. During the Ijtimah, a debate on “challenges to world peace and role of Muslim Ummah” was held in which president of Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Advocate Mian Abdul Qayoom, noted columnist, Dr. Javid Iqbal, and Maulana Tariq Ahmed Makki expressed their views. The debate was presided over by Ameer-i-Zilla District Srinagar Faheem Mohammad Ramzan. Others who spoke during the Ijtimah included Naib Ameer, Maulana Nazir Ahmad Raina and Nazim-e-A’ala of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba J&K, Wahid Bashir. District secretary of Jama’at-e-Islami Srinagar, Niaz Ahmed, moderated the session.
