Juventus 2-2 Real Madrid Fernando Llorentes second half header secured Juventus a 2-2 draw after a pulsating Champions League tie against Real Madrid in Turin. Juve, without a win so far in this years competition, began the game with purpose but found Real goalkeeper Iker Casillas in determined mood, the Spaniard making three fine stops in the opening half hour. Casillas could do little to prevent the home side eventually taking the lead four minutes before half time though, when a clumsy tackle from Raphael Varane on Paul Pogba saw referee Howard Webb point to the spot. Chilean striker Arturo Vidal dispatched the spot kick into the left-hand corner to give Antonio Contes team a vital half-time lead. Real drew themselves level seven minutes into the second half when a Martin Caceres back-pass was intercepted by Karim Benzema, the Frenchman then feeding Cristiano Ronaldo in the area, who stroked home his eighth Champions League goal of the season. Ronaldo then turned provider on the hour mark, the Portuguese laying the ball off to Gareth Bale, who took a touch before firing home a low shot into the bottom left-hand corner from 20 yards. Juve hit back five minutes later to secure a valuable point when Caceres hopeful cross from the right found Llorente, who escaped the attentions of Varane to head home from six yards. The draw all but seals Reals passage to the knockout stages as Group B winners, with 10 points garnered from their four games so far. Juve meanwhile face a real battle to make it through with just their third point of their campaign so far seeing them slump behind FC Copenhagen to the bottom of the table, with just two games remaining.
