K-9 Cyrus hangs up his collar to retire from a decorated career. After seven-and-a-half years of working the streets, Washington County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Cyrus retired. Cyrus was diagnosed with cancer in March and had reached the point where he could no longer remain in active service. The county transferred ownership of Cyrus to his partner, Deputy Ty Jacobson and his family.
