K-9 KILLED: -A St. Johns County, Florida Sheriffs Office K-9 named Baron died early Tuesday morning and investigators believe someone may have drowned him. The police dog had been in service since May 2013. A manhunt was underway on SR-207 at Wildwood Drive shortly before 6 a.m. Investigators said they were searching for a suspect involved in a disturbance call. The dog engaged someone in a wooded area, deputies heard a male voice, then it went silent. When deputies found the dog, he had been drowned.
