K. Rich wants the world to know that he is the baddest! Thats the name of his latest release which he co-produced with System 32, a trio of local EDM producers who are a part of the CDM (Caribbean Dance Music) movement in Trinidad. Kenneth Richards promised that this is his first of many co-productions and eventual full scale solo productions. He is also credited as a co-writer of the song together with Mical Wiliiams, Karega Alleyne and Dale Ryan. Baddest came to be when System 32 approached him with a rough demo, when he heard it he instantly saw the potential for something big that could push the boundaries of Soca Music. With only six weeks left until carnival, Richard’s told TTRN he expects the song to extend beyond the season, and this is the mindset he has with all his music henceforth. With a jaw dropping lyric video already out, one can only imagine what he has in store for the actual music video which is being directed by 868 films. He describes “Baddest” as an anthem for the females who know that they are unlike anything else, and promised the clip will be a tribute to all those girls.
