K-Tip: For those looking to shed some weight> Keep a food and exercise journal. Writing down has been shown to improve successful weight loss. In fact, several studies have shown that people who keep food journals are more likely to be successful in losing weight AND keeping it off. A recent study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine shows that people who keep a food diary six days a week lost about twice as much weight as those who kept foods records for one day a week or less.
