KA24DE OWNERS! Im having an idle problem and i cant seem to figure it out. My car idles high (1500 rpm) and does go from 1200 to 1500 back and forth a bit, then it will iddle normally randomly and then go back to revving high. I live in New England so its cold but its almost like my car is in cold start mode all the time. Temp is fine, ive been searching for vacuum leaks and i have adjusted my idle a ton trying to figure this out. when i UNPLUG my throttle position sensor my idle goes back to normal and the car seems fine, then i can adjust the idle easily. When its PLUGGED IN the idle jumps back up and when i adjust it its only making the jumps from 1500 to 1000 rpms or so more dramatic like its fighting the issue. Can anyone help? im thinking Maf, vacuum leak, or a sensor gone bad of sorts. Please help!
