KADMCC Organised One day District Level Convention Diphu, January 28: The Karbi Anglong District Mohila Congress Committee (KADMCC) organised one day District Level Convention at Joy Sing Doloi Auditorium Hall, Dish on Tuesday. The meeting was chaired over by EM Alice Engtipi, President KADMCC and object of the meeting was briefed out by Lusia Teronpi, General Secretary KADMCC. MP Biren Sing Engti attended as chief Gust. S.K Saha, State Social Wefare Officer and Ganesh Shyam, BA LLB attended as resource person. CEM Tuliram Ronghang, MLA Klengdun Engti, MLA Dr. Mansing Rongpi, EM’s of KAAC, Ward Commissioner of Dish Town Committee and staff of KAAC attended as guest of honour, and all the Mohila Congress over Karbi Anglong attended the programme. MP Birensing Engti while addressing the gathering said that, due to the hard work of Mohila Congress, the ruling Congress party won election. Much more development took place under the Congress compared with other regional parties. S.K Saha, State Social welfare officer sublined that every years the District Social Welfare Department give, opportunity for 60 women for free training in cutting and coloring, during the course of their training the Social welfare Department give stipend of Rs. 150 per months to each person trainee and after completed their cource the department distribute Swing Machine. Apart from that orphan child between age group of 6-16 free education including hostile, fooding, clothing and others study material were given, added Saha. He also said that, for handicapped person the Social Welfare Department distribute thrice bi- cycle, working stick and old age pension. He also added that, those who have suffered from kidney, heart, malaria and other major diseases can get Health Insurance through the Social Welfare Department and application form can be obtained from the office, added Saha. Later,CEM Tuliram Ronghang while gathering that, MP Birensing Engti almost certain to get the MP ticket from the Congress(I) for both the twins Hills district, where the election is expected to be held with March/April 2014. Bandh Culture should be strike off by people of Karbi Anglong which hindered the development work, added Ronghang. He also appeals the Mohila Congress to work hard so that the party would win election convincingly.
