KAFANCHAN SHOW OF SHAME Yesterday 2nd June 2014 Senator Nenadi - TopicsExpress

KAFANCHAN SHOW OF SHAME Yesterday 2nd June 2014 Senator Nenadi E.Usaman of Kaduna South Senatorial district organised a car, tricycle, and grinding machine distribution event in Kafanchan( our zonal headquarters). Government officials from three layers of governments were there. Some of notable guests were:1) the leader of law making branch of Nigeria Sen. David Bonaventure Mark; 2) Governor Ramallan Yero of Kaduna State; and a minister of Special duties of federal republic of Nigeria. More to this, was a large rented crowd from Kafanchan and all the LGAs of the zone. The climax of it all was dashing of items to partymen and loyalist, and delivering of speeches by invited dignitaries. The speeches were tailored to showcase a hardworking, caring, dedicated, and above all a compassionate senator that has kept faith with the four years contract entered with the people of the zone in 2011. Though none officially endorsed her in clear words, but their speeches and phrases were loaded with multiple indirect endorsements, yes we are not undiscerning minds. Nothing came to me as a surprise in the entire show than appearance of the Senate President Gen. David Mark on the scene. Mark is an Idoma man from Benue whose people are politically dominated, economically emasculated, and culturally subjugated. Their struggles for liberation from internal slavery is akin to ours in Southern Kaduna. From 2013 to date, nasty events in Attakar and Bondom that attracted international attention happened, Mark refused to make time to visit and empathise with us. But now that disloyal and unfaithful lady wants to have a fresh mandate, he created time for it. Shame on you, Senator Mark. No wonder your people are still struggling for a state and all your electoral victories contested in the tribunals and courts of law. And if what happened yesterday was an act of intimidation through arrogant show of wealth, it has boomerang because the occasion raised more questions than answers. A survey of all Southern Kaduna online forums shows that, money sank there was a huge waste. It was like throwing a bag of USD on a flowing stream. Phone calls we got from the villages are also bad and not receptive to the event. However, the bug stops at the table of those to decide her fate within her party to know that, the whole world is watching them and hope they know that history shall not be kind to them, if they sacrifice our genuine interest on the altar of greed. Less they forget, a time shall come when people from 18 and above will participate in deciding who should be senator not only a college less than 2000 people. As for that intellectual destitute and political nonentity that banned okadas but honoured an okada dashing occasion, time shall come. Shame on you Mark, Nenadi, Yero, and PDP rented crowd.
