Indeed and if this latest result is anything to go by then you will know that Queens is over the moon after todays victory/s. Its been a long time coming, especially for the 1st XV. The team has been under immense pressure to deliver. One only needs to see the captain Uhuru Vanda face to face to understand the pressure hes under. On Thursday the team took on a confident Parktown, bolted past them 24-16. . . That couldnt possibly their biggest match, their BMT would need to be tested under greater circumstances, what better circumstance than KES, the hosts, Main field on a Saturday afternoon in the main game ? Fitting I believe. I will say that no one gave the team a chance and when they were still down at half time, it was all part and parcel of what people expected. I refer you now to the 17-13 score line where Queens ultimately hung on to grind out a plucky KES side. Congratulations to The Whites. Its been a long time coming. . . Queens has really been lifted by the two victories. Both internally and externally !
