KARMA? (EXPLAINED) .....:) Within a week I have had discussions about Karma, with three of my friends in a different occasions. And at the end of the week I came to a conclusion that a lot of people believes in Karma. Even people so called CHRISTIANS believe in that. In my studies I have never find a word Karma in the Bible. I never believe in Karma and I will never believe in that. JESUS CHRIST came to this planet in a physical form was so that HE could save us. We of course are like everyone else and we have all sinned and come short of the glory of GOD (Rom 3:23). Even though we are not really worthy of salvation, GOD chose to save us anyway. The death of JESUS on the cross is the most important event in history that affects our lives directly. If we choose to receive JESUS’s body and blood as a sacrifice for our sins, and are willing to give Him our lives, then we will receive His life. The teachings of JESUS are very important because His Words judge us. Everything about JESUS mission on Earth is about saving us from our sins. The name JESUS means “Jehovah saves”, the word salvation means to rescue. JESUS’s name describes His mission and purpose of coming to Earth. JESUS gives us the Way, the Truth, and Life. JESUS gave us the way to have unity with GOD. His sacrifice made it possible for us to live in GOD and for GOD to live in us. I want you all brothers and sisters to help me here, if you have any comments.Thanks. Here are some of my researches. Writing by Courage with Grace Ministries. Don’t Build a Doctrine on One Verse The word karma is not mentioned in the bible, but still some Christians hang on to the old covenant verse about sowing and reaping. To first understand if this is a part of the New Covenant, we need to gather up all of the New Covenant scriptures. So, let’s go! I am going to list all of the scriptures below… Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. – Galatians 6:7-8 There is one verse in the New Testament that is about sowing and reaping. This is interesting because you would think the Bible would have more scripture on this. People quote Hosea 8:7, “They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind…” And they quote Proverbs 22:8, “Whoever sows injustice will reap calamity…” But let’s not forget, there is a HUGE difference between the New and Old Covenant! Under the Old Covenant what sin you commit equals punishment; this is why you will find so many Old Testament scriptures on sowing and reaping sin. But, under this New Covenant, Jesus reaped all of the punishment that we sowed, and we reap all of the blessings that He sowed. In the new covenant there is not one verse about karma or about sowing and reaping sin! Don’t let the world influence your beliefs. Take every belief with the finished work in mind. There is a big difference and it is the CROSS! The fact is that, karma is just not Biblical. Is it better to go through your life expecting bad things to happen because of your sin (karma)? Or, is it better to expect good things to happen because Jesus paid the full punishment, we deserved? BY JEREMY BUTLER. Karma and the biblical idea of reaping what you sow are not the same. The Bible teaches that we will die once and then be judged. Hebrews 9:27 says “And inasmuch as it is appointed for me to die once and after this comes judgment.” We need to understand what sin is. I John 3:4 says, “Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.” This tells us that sin is the breaking of the law of God. How do you know if you have sinned? Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen anything? Have you ever hated anyone? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you are a sinner. You are guilty of breaking the law of God. Isaiah 59:2 teaches us that sin separates us from God, which states: “But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God. And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.” Sin also brings death to all people. Romans 5:12 says, “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned.” Romans 6:23 says, For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. My brothers and sisters,1 Peter 1:23 - Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. the Bible say to die from our sins and be born again to a new life. Repent and turn to The LORD JESUS CHRIST. HE offers us a free gift (eternal life). Is an “Unmerited Favor.” but the LORD offers that to us. The Bible said believe in the LORD JESUS CHRIST and you will be saved. This is not a joke!!! Its real! Believe in the LORD with all your heart with all your mind, and all your soul. Give complete obedience to the LORD at all time! Do that! And watch! The LORD manifesting in your life. HE is FAITHFUL indeed. HE is our refuge, in times of troubles or at any time. HE loves us unconditionally.
