KARTHIKA MASA GANAPATHY HOMAM IN KAPILESHWARA SWAMY TEMPLE FROM NOVEMBER 15,2012 With the advent of the holy month of Karthika, TTD is all set to perform special Karthika masa homams in the famous temple of Sri Kapileshwara Swmay in Tirupati from Novmeber 14 to December 13. As a part of this special ritual, there will be Ganapathi homam from November 15 to17, Navagraha Homam on November 18, Sri Subramanya Homam from November 19 to 21. On this occasion there will be Kalyanotsavam of Sri Valli Devasena Sametha Sri Subramanya Swamy on the evening of November 21 from 6pm to 8pm. From November 22 to 30 the homams will be performed to Goddess Kamakchi Ammavaru in the name of Chandi Yagam. From December 1 to 11, Rudra Yagam will be performed in a ceremonious way followed by Sri Kala Bhairava Homam on December 12 and concludes with Sri Dakshina Murthy Swmay homam and Sri Chandikeshwara Swamy homam on December 13. The grihasta pilgrims who are willing to take part in these homams can pay Rs.500 for a couple who will be later presented with a uttariyam and blouse piece along with Annaprasadam. TTD has also arranged special spiritual and dharmic programmes including Harikatha, carnatic devotional music during this entire period.
