KASHMIR READER HEADLINES @ Guv lauds forces for successful elections Exhorts troops to avoid collateral damage, asks various agencies to enhance cooperation JAMMU: Governor NN Vohra credited security and intelligence agencies with “neutralising inimical elements”, which paved way for a high voter turnout in the Assembly elections, an official spokesman said. Addressing this year’s first meeting of the Unified Headquarters (UHQ) at Civil Secretariat, Vohra also complimented the forces and intelligence agencies for achieving a high level of convergence in anti-militancy operations, the spokesman said in a statement. The UHQ is considered as the largest internal security grid in the world, comprising the army, police, paramilitary forces, civilian administration and intelligence agencies. The chief minister of the state is its chairman.
