KAT-TUN LIVE TOUR 2014 come Here Merchandise report *Introduction to the merchandise chapter* Heres an introduction to a few of the merchandise that will be sold at the venue! ■Pamphlet Its cool black cover with the tour title in gold letters is characteristic of KAT-TUN. It includes plenty of interviews, not only of the individual members but also group talks. The details of the photo shoot are described in the Pamphlet photo shoot chapter. KAT-TUNs message, come Here is fully packed into this one pamphlet. ■Poster In the group version, KAT-TUN members look formal in their black suits, as they stand in front of the gate as though to say, Come here! In the individual version, on the other hand, the members will grab your heart with their gentle expressions, as though they are next to you when you wake up on a weekend morning. You can enjoy two different themes in the group and individual posters. ■Jumbo fan The jumbo fan is all in black, including the handle. Even the design of the back side is taking the members opinions into account. They decided to write their names in cursive, thanks to Uedas suggestion: Maybe we can write our name in cursive, since thats never been done before! In the photo shoot, a staff member told Taguchi, Your face has gotten sharper! to which he replied, Theres been a lot going on... with a serious expression. This was followed by Just kidding! as he broke out into a huge smile! It seemed like Taguchis energy was in full throttle as usual. Ueda posed coolly for the photo shoot, saying I dont think a smile would match the jumbo fans look. Nakamaru also gave a great expression as always. Kamenashi explained, I want to put extra effort into the jumbo fans, because they are something that everyone will be holding up! as he continued the shoot until he was truly satisfied with the finished photo. ■Clear file folder For the clear file folder, a light themed photo of KAT-TUN was used. It has a different mood to the posters and jumbo fans, so please check it out. ■Original glow stick Taguchi was extremely happy with the cute, light-weight, square-shaped glow sticks, saying This is the best in KAT-TUN history!? Its awesome! Im so pumped! Kamenashi, Ueda, and Nakamaru also looked extremely satisfied, especially because the hand logo in the glow stick appears to move. The light in the glow sticks were made to move as per the members request. They were ecstatic about the finished product, especially when they saw the hand moving as though to say come here! They said, What!? The hand is really cute! (Kamenashi) The quality has gone up a level! (Nakamaru) at the unexpectedly well-made product. The light has three colors, changing from white, green, and blue. Please be sure to get a hold of one. ■Shopping bag The members had suggested, Lets make it summer-like. It should definitely have a cool image! (Ueda) I wonder if we can use some colors? (Kamenashi) The outcome of the members brainstorming was a cloth, tote style shopping bag. The members chose indigo for the color, which is unusual for KAT-TUN. The size is big enough to easily fit a pamphlet in, based on Kamenashis opinion: Slightly big bags are definitely cuter! Taguchis suggestion, I like a marine look! was reflected in the wide rope handles, which gave it a summery look. It is designed for daily use, as per the members request: It has to be something that can be used for all occasions! ■T-shirt The front side has come Here in basic font, and the back side, as per Kamenashis request of We could have four hands in the back, has a design of four hands beckoning to come in, like in their concert logo. Its a design that the members discussed while looking at several ideas, saying This ones cute! (Nakamaru) This design would be good for daily use! (Taguchi) They decided on a shirt with cut-off sleeves and hem. Even the neck has a cut-off style, creating a unique look. The neck size was adjusted according to the members taste, like Ueda said, Wouldnt it be cute if the neck was more open!? Its a stylish design that can be tailored individually, according to Kamenashis suggestion: They can cut it themselves if they want it more open! After much contemplation, they finally decided on white as their color. In the meeting, Kamenashi had mentioned, The fans preference was black, wasnt it? referring to the opinions of Hyphen in Shinshun Katsumode held at the beginning of this year. They debated between black and white, but in the end, they decided to go with what color they themselves wanted to see the Hyphen wearing. They said, Lets go with white! (Ueda) We want to see the girls wearing white t-shirts! (Kamenashi) as they made a unanimous decision for white. Apparently, a girl in a white t-shirt was what the members considered their ideal look. Please show off your white shirts at the concert, and get the members attention. ■Bath towel The black bath towel with a big print of the city names and concert logo on it was based on the members ideas: I like the design with the logo on one side! (Nakamaru) Its a nation-wide tour, so I want to put the city names in it! (Kamenashi) Its an item that will be indispensable not only during the concert, but this coming summer. ■KAT-TUN Club newsletter folder The newsletter folders were made to match the membership cards, as the members suggested: The membership card was black and gold, right? (Taguchi) Lets make them match! (Ueda) It has a hard black cover with a gold concert logo etched into it. It is big enough to fit twelve newsletters. You can also keep your concert ticket stubs in the file as a keepsake! ■Mouse pad Its been almost three years since Nakamaru was down because his idea of making mouse pads was dismissed... But now, its finally been realized! Even the design was up to Nakamaru, with the members saying Nakamaru should make it how he wants it! (Kamenashi) Im happy with anything! (Ueda) Me too! (Taguchi) Well, lets do it like this! Nakamaru had said, and decided on a cute mouse pad in the shape of a hand like in their concert logo. They joked in their usual way: Do people use mouse pads these days!? (Taguchi) I know! (Nakamaru) (LOL). Nonetheless, the item is particularly special to Nakamaru, as the concept had been in the pipeline for a number of years. We hope you get a hold of one. ■Coaster The coaster is made of rubber, and utilizes the concert logo. The members were extremely happy with it, saying Its perfect! Im going to use it at home, too! (Kamenashi) Its thick and made to last. ■IC card sticker The IC card sticker comes in a set of two. One has a group photo of KAT-TUN, with the members dressed in black suits. The other one has the concert logo on it. It was made in response to the members’ hopes that the Hyphen will keep KAT-TUN close to their hearts even on their way to the concert venue! lt’s sure to make you feel close to KAT-TUN wherever you are! ■Venue-only bracelet The bracelets are made of rubber. They come in a set of two: One is KAT-TUNs color black, and is the same design for all venues. The other ones color is dependent on the venue. It came from Nakamaru’s idea: “It would be great if we could make something the fans could wear as a keepsake!” What color you will get at each venue is a surprise!
