KATHUMP! All heads in the house came up, including ours. I had heard the sound over the music I was playing. Hmmmm? Not those nasty raccoons again! I ran downstairs and headed for the back door, careful to put on the back porch light before even considering stepping into the night. I leaned out . . . slowly. No, there was nothing out here, Larry. Now McTavish decides to start barking. The neighbors dogs start barking. Another hmmmm. Larry goes by me out the door and soon the trash can is upright again and the trash bag returned to its innards. No raccoons it seems were after the trash. However a BIG BEAR was. BIG paw prints all over the drive. Thats twice the bugger has visited us in about a week. What next?
