KC Streetcar construction update: The intersection of 5th Street and Grand Blvd is closed for 10 days Grand Blvd. closed to northbound traffic from Missouri to 3rd Street. Local access and on-street parking ALLOWED on Grand between Missouri and just north of 5th. 5th Street is closed between Oak and Walnut. Local access available. 5th between Walnut and Main is westbound ONLY in order to accommodate roadway paving. Once complete, 5th will reopen to two-way traffic between Walnut and Delaware 5th is open to two way traffic between Main and Delaware. Walnut will remain open to two-way traffic. Beginning Wednesday, Grand between 3rd and 5th to close to thru traffic. Local access available. Weather permitting, crews will work 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week, in order to complete work by Thanksgiving. Visit kcstreetcar.org for more information.
