KCCA tribunal report was released last week with obvious results and recommendations setting pace for the councillors to move a VOTE of no confidence in the Lord Mayor Salongo Erias Lukwago and to same of us it wasnt a suprise.Initially same of us,had strong reservations for the Lord Mayor to present himself to the tribunal which had all the indications of biaesness.We were convinced by our legal team and we agreed with them that Lord Mayor faces the tribunal for record purposes and for history to exonerate the innocent mind of the lord mayor.Indeed all the presentations by all those who were against the lord mayor lacked implical evidence to support their weird allegations. For the obvious motives of tribunal, it found sense in submissions by all the anti Lukwago squad which led to the conviction of Lord Mayor on almost all counts!!!! This reminds me of our common literature book, the #ANIMAL_FARM. To the anti Lukwago squad, the world has seen you, recognized all your contributions and indeed you will be decorated by your masters for a #Job_Well_Done, to your masters ,your heroes but to your voters your a total disgrace and be sure the cost of your actions will politically be expensive and socially detached. To the lord mayor my assurance is that you WON in the public court and all those who were against you lost miserably in incorruptible, everlasting, peoples court. To over 230000 voters of the lord mayor, sympathisers, well wishers and peace loving Ugandans, human rights activists, stay firm and be steadyfast. #THE_STRUGGLE_CONTINUES, and this could be our #TURNING_POINT in the struggle of constitutionalism and rule of law. Dont despair, there is light at the end of the tunnel.These re political democratic challenges which I believe we shall overcome sooner than later.
