KCM SAGA..... By Greenwell Nyirenda I have been thinking..... Eyers, seriously speaking if the government lobbied the international community to assist us in raising capital for our mines, especially KCM, dont you think we can do it. I always wonder why we should still depend on investors to run the heart of our Economy 50 years after independence. We are all crying that KCM was sold at a cheaper price, by the Mwanawasa regime. If things where just normal in Zambia as they are in other nations, our govt would have started re-looking in the mine sector of this country, finding possible means in which we can sustain our mines whilst drawing so much profits from our God given minerals. We have the expertise in the name of Mr Sixtus Mulenga, Mr Mphande and all those experienced Zambians who are capable of running our mines.
