KCPC will be hosting a Community Town Hall Meeting tonight, October 29, 2014 at 7 p.m. The Town Hall meeting will take place at the Kamiah Elementary Multi Purpose room and will address the emerging Meth problem in our community. A panel of professionals, including local law enforcement, a local business owner representative, Tribal law enforcement, Tribal Child Welfare, Fire department and EMT personnel and others will be on hand to address the concerns of community members. Each attendee will have the opportunity to write any questions they have on a card when they come in. As many as possible of those questions will be addressed at the meeting. Any questions we are unable to get to during the meeting will be answered later via the KCPC Facebook page, local newspaper articles and local radio spots. The goal of this meeting is to inform and empower community members as to what we can all do to help combat this problem in our community. Please plan to attend and learn how you can help.
