KE554 OLOONTOTO CDC is a Children Ministry under PEFA CHURCH OLOONTOTO in partnership with Compassion International. The church is situated 2kms from Korrompoi junction, Kitengela – Namanga road .Its 12kms from Kitengela town. Its main objective is geared towards nurturing holistic development of the needy of the neediest Children in OLOONTOTO and the surrounding areas through sponsorship. The project seeks to recruit a competent and committed Project Director who possesses the qualifications below:- DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1. Must be a committed born again Christian. 2. Have a degree in social science, management, administration, or the equivalent from a recognized Kenyan university. 3. Be ready to work under minimum supervision and a servant leader. 4. Be a team player and demonstrated advocacy for needy children. 5. Must be computer literate. 6. Have basic working accounting knowledge and financial management. 7. Should be between 25 and 40 years old. 8. Must have current official pastor’s recommendation letter. 9. Ability to work with children, students and youths between the ages of 0 – 22 years. 10. Work experience with children is an added advantage. 11. Must be committed to excellence, integrity and stewardship. 12. Male candidate are highly encouraged to apply DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES In charge of the day-to-day running of the child development center such as: In charge of the overall spiritual, cognitive, social, and physical development outcomes of the children. Keeps an open communication with the management Committee and the Partnership facilitator. In charge of the children Saturday program. Coordinates and / or compiles various weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as may be needed. Implements the budget and plan for the project in consultation with the project committee. Ensures that holistic child development takes effect in form of activities relating to the four development areas stipulated in the PFM. Implements a curriculum that will ensure that learning activities promote the four areas of child development. Attends all Church Partnership Committee meetings. Initiates Networks and collaboration for increased resource mobilization and beneficial partnerships. Depending on the felt needs, he/she is in charge of generating applicable proposals for funding specific activities initiated by the Child Development Centre.
