KEEP TRUSTING THE LORD Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord (Jeremiah 17:5) There are consequences when we make man our hope. When we trust in a man, God sees it as a curse. When a man is cursed, he is bound to fail in all he does and his generation after him will inherit his curses. God pre fares it when we trust in Him rather than trusting a man He created. The Bible says, Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spread out its roots by the rivers, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit (Jeremiah 17:7-8). This is what God has promised you as a footballer when you learn to make Him your source and only hope and faith. When you believe that only Him can deliver you, means you are blessed.
